This cavaletti is one of many teaching tools I use during training.
Play is an important part of training!
Perhaps your family is very busy, or you don’t have time to devote to training your pup in classes and at home. Are you limited in mobility, and the physical nature of training is too difficult for you? Perhaps you have considered sending your dog away to a "board and train" facility; you want good behavior from from your dog, but aren't sure about sending her away. Day training is a very efficient way to train your dog. Your dog will get professional attention and training, while you watch, or attend to your busy schedule. I can work on particular home-based problems or basic obedience in your own home. This is an excellent choice for:
Loose leash walking manners
Impulse control problems
Difficult or distracted dogs
Basic manners
Here I am using cones to teach maneuvering on leash.
In our initial meeting, we will discuss the issues and clarify the goals you seek. I will then work with your pup a bit, and suggest some immediate changes or boundaries to institute to help manage his behavior. I will then come to your home and train your dog either twice a week or on a schedule that fits your lifestyle. I will follow up with you every 2 sessions to coach you in how to maintain the training and apprise you of your dog’s improvement. Day training is purchased in blocks only, as that allows me to have the greatest effect on your dog’s behaviors. Please note that I focus only on one or two dogs at this level at a time. My most popular package is the 2 in 2 (2 sessions a week for 2 weeks) and includes an initial consultation.
